Deaf Space + ART.

At Handshapes, we aim to create a welcoming and inclusive space where deaf and hard of hearing artists and enthusiasts can come together from all corners.

Our diverse range of programs is carefully designed to support and empower artists on their creative journeys, whether they pursue art as a hobby or a profession. We strive to provide a nurturing environment that encourages artists to embrace their creativity and channel it into impactful and meaningful works of art.

Expanding our reach throughout Australia is at the core of our vision. We are committed to ensuring that Deaf artists and enthusiasts from all regions have equal access to workshops, resources, and opportunities for artistic growth. Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to foster creative expression in Auslan, the comfortable language of the Deaf community. By creating a thriving deaf space, we aim to break down barriers, inspire collaboration, and allow creativity to flourish without limitations.
